Rachael desires to help clients by addressing them as holistic beings. She believes that in addressing a person's mental, spiritual, physical and emotional wellbeing, they can work together to further healing and growth. Rachael has seen the benefits when addressing the person as a whole being, and wants to walk alongside to pursue a better wellbeing. She desires to create a place where there is no judgement so that they feel comfortable and seen.
She desires to engage with her clients specifically using Cognitive Behavior Theory (CBT) and integrating other theories such as Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as needed. She believes that each person is unique and aims to the client's needs unique to their individual situation. Rachael’s counseling interests are, but not limited to: Anxiety, depression, stress management, grief, self-harm, life transitions, and trauma. She is also willing to integrate faith throughout the counseling process if client desires.
In her spare time, Rachael enjoys playing piano, hanging out with friends, watching movies, spending time with her church family, and visiting coffee shops.
