She received her Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2024. Previously, she earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Spanish Language and Literature from North Carolina State University in 2020.
As a counselor, Lindsey strives to meet each client right where they are by providing a warm, welcoming, and safe environment. She believes it is an honor to bear witness to all of the experiences that make up her clients’ individual stories: the beauty, pain, joy, loss, and hope. Lindsey views each client as having inherent worth and value, deserving of love and respect.
Lindsey seeks to tailor her use of therapeutic interventions to the specific needs and goals of each client through a holistic approach that caters to the whole person (physiological, psychological, social, and spiritual). Her approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) and she integrates elements from various other therapeutic theories such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Relational Cultural Theory (RCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). Lindsey also enjoys incorporating creativity and art in the counseling space when working with children and teens. She is passionate about walking alongside and empowering children, teens, and adults as they navigate various life concerns including, but not limited to: Complex Trauma/PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Grief/Loss, Religious Hurt/Trauma, Identity Formation, Women’s Issues, Self-Image/Esteem, Life Transitions, and Relational Conflict. Lindsey also has the ability to integrate faith and spirituality upon request.
Outside of the counseling room, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, playing board games, reading a good book, doing something crafty, or grabbing a cup of coffee with her friends.
