Caitlin is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina (License #A17350). She received her Masters from Gardner-Webb University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Prior to graduate school, Caitlin graduated from Gardner-Webb with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Youth Discipleship.

Through her graduate coursework, Caitlin completed her practicum and internship experiences with children in play therapy, college students in the college counseling center, and adults through psychotherapy. She believes that it is necessary for the counseling relationship to be empathetic, safe, and non-judgmental. Taking a cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approach, Caitlin aims to provide a safe and supportive space to collaborate and work at the clients own pace to reach goals. She hopes to empower her clients through heightening self-confidence and utilizing strengths as well as enhancing one’s accountability for behaviors. Through the counseling relationship, we can facilitate change.

In her free time, Caitlin enjoys playing with her Sheltie, going to the beach, playing tennis, leading her Scentsy teammates, and spending time with family and friends. Caitlin looks forward to walking alongside you on this journey.
